CLEVELAND, OHIO: A lawsuit has been filed against Logan Paul and KSI's PRIME Hydration LLC for having 200 mg of caffeine in 12 ounces of the beverage, which is equivalent to more than two full cans of Red Bull.
The company is also accused of misleading customers and aggressively selling the beverage, particularly to those under the age of 18, for whom it is harmful due to the high level of caffeine that might have negative, detrimental consequences on their health.

History of PRIME energy drink
A brand-new energy drink named PRIME was introduced to the market earlier in 2022 by social media stars Logan Paul and Olajide William Olatunji (KSI), positioning it as a "healthier" substitute for conventional sports and energy beverages. The beverage quickly had enormous success, particularly among children.

“We’re on track to sell one hundred million bottles in our first year. In eight months, PRIME now is 1% market share in the Hydration category,” he said.

He added, “So that means for every 100 bottles of hydration sold, PRIME is one of them. We aim to be at 5% by the end of next year and – I’ll say it right here, right now – We are also going to attack the energy category.”
Given the lawsuit brought against the firm and the criticism Logan Paul has received as a result of it, it doesn't appear like his audacious proposal will materialize anytime soon.
Fans criticize Logan Paul for PRIME
Some individuals discussed the truth of the drink being inaccurately represented in the comments area of the Instagram video where Logan Paul is seen praising the admirable success of his most recent energy drink.
A user wrote, “Nobody supports you. You abuse animals, investors, and your friends.” Another user added, “You would not believe it but there is such a thing called Red Bull zero sugar… Woooow.”
A user further stated, “Targeting children with an “hydration” drink that is absolutely horrible for you…. Great.”
One user mentioned, “Crazy how easily influenced we all are…crap celebrity liquor and crap celebrity hydration explodes to the top….the product doesn’t mean anything…just sold by an amazing marketer.”
It appears that the PRIME Energy drink firm will soon have to shut down due to the consumer class action lawsuit that has been brought against it given the continued controversy.
